2024 – 2025 Dress Code

All Lexington School of Ballet students in the Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Jazz, and Modern programs are expected to wear their dress code leotard for every class.  Leotards should be purchased before the first class of the term. Please see the dress code for the specific details for each class level.  Students at every level of the LSB Ballet and Pre-Ballet Program are expected to come to class with their hair in a bun. Students in our Jazz and Modern programs should have their hair up and away from their face in a bun or in a ponytail.    

We are phasing out Ballet Rosa leotards as they are very difficult to obtain but if your dancer has a uniform leotard from the 2023-2024 year that still fits they are more than welcome to wear it during the 2024-2025 year. New leotards are available for order through a local dance store, Dance This Way, 79 Commonwealth Avenue, West Concord – 978-318-1960, or directly online at www.wearmoi.us or at www.capezio.com or at www.discountdance.com.  Ballet slippers and pointe shoes should always be fitted at a dance store.

Some leotards may be on back order. In this instance, students may wear another leotard (or appropriate attire for our youngest dancers) until you receive your class level leotard.
